the dangers of addiction.
The meaning of addiction refers to a phenomenon in which a person becomes dependent on a specific behavior, and it refers to a chronic disease in which he or she has a desire to do it repeatedly despite various problems caused by a specific behavior.
Typical examples are smoking addiction, alcoholism, gambling addiction, drug addiction, and smartphone addiction. Why do people have a desire to do these addictions repeatedly even if they can't stop them? It is the strongest "drug addiction" of addiction. Representatively, it is the city of Kensington Avenue Zombie in Philadelphia, USA, which is addicted to drugs. It's a zombie city because most people here are all drunk and acting like zombies.
The reason for taking drugs is that eating the ingredients paralyzes the part of the brain that feels pain and makes you feel better. However, if you eat it repeatedly, the pain becomes more and more sensitive. When you don't take medicine, you can feel very small pain, such as body aches and sweating even if you stay still. Therefore, you cannot live a normal life without medicine.
Addiction cannot be stopped by one's own will. For example, "I'm really going to stop drinking from tomorrow". "I will definitely quit smoking in the new year". We often encounter resolutions like this around us, but relatively few people say they are actually successful. Why are we addicted to something like this, and why is it hard to cut off? The reason for this is that anatomically, it forms a pathway that connects to the basal nucleus, which is responsible for motor function, the front (frontal lobe), the brain's most superior organ. In other words, normal control and control of a specific behavior are achieved only when the frontal lobe's execution and control function, the formation of a habit of feeling the pleasure from the reward circuit and repeating a specific behavior. That's why you want to feel that pleasure again and repeatedly That's what addiction is.
