제가 생각하는 사유하는 인간은 자기 성찰, 비판적 사고, 도덕적 판단이라고 생각합니다. 하지만 요즘 사유적이지 않은 딥페이크 문제들과 정책과 교육 문제를 고민해 보았습니다.

저는 요즘 사유하지 않은 교육과 정책의 잘 못된 점을 말하고자 요즘 이슈가 되고 있는 딥페이크의 사건을 말하고자 합니다. 딥페이크가 한국의 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교에서 유행하며 심각한 문제를 일으키고 있다는 점은, 단순한 기술적 문제를 넘어서 교육과 정책의 구조적 한계에서 비롯된 것으로 같습니다. 특히, 비판적 사고와 윤리 교육의 부족, 그리고 디지털 미디어에 대한 정책적 미흡함이 이러한 문제의 확산을 방치하고 있는 상황이라고 생각합니다.  비판적 사고와 윤리적 사고를 중점적으로 가르치는 교육이 미흡하다 보니, 학생들은 딥페이크의 심각성을 인지하지 못하거나 가볍게 여기고, 이를 유희적인 목적으로 사용하기에 이르렀습니다. 또한 정책은 페이크 기술이 상용화되고 널리 퍼졌음에도 불구하고, 청소년들이 이를 악용하지 않도록 교육하는 사회적 시스템은 불완전 합니다. 학생들이 딥페이크 기술을 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 환경이 조성되고, 관련 법과 규제가 뒤따르지 않아 청소년들의 악용이 더욱 확산된 것 이라고 생각합니다.

딥페이크 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 교육과 정책의 근본적인 변화가 필요합니다. 우선 비판적 사고와 윤리 교육을 강화하여, 학생들이 기술의 위험성을 이해하고 윤리적 판단을 내릴 수 있도록 돕는 것이 중요합니다. 이를 통해 학생들은 단순한 기술적 사용자가 아니라, 그 기술이 사회에 미칠 영향을 고민하고 책임질 수 있는 사유하는 시민이으로 성장할 수 있도록 말 입니다.

딥페이크 문제는 단순한 기술의 문제가 아니라, 사회적 구조와 교육, 정책이 긴밀하게 맞물려 발생한 문제라고 생각합니다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 청소년들이 사유할 수 있는 능력을 기르고, 기술을 윤리적으로 사용할 수 있도록 돕는 방향으로 교육과 정책이 나아가야 할 것입니다.

질문: "딥페이크와 같은 기술이 청소년들에게 악영향을 미치는 상황에서, 비판적 사고를 기르는 교육과 기술 규제를 결합한 정책이 효과적으로 작동하려면, 어떤 방식으로 학생들의 참여와 책임감을 높일 수 있을까요?" 

The fact that deepfakes are prevalent and causing serious problems in elementary, middle, and high schools in Korea can be seen as stemming from structural limitations in education and policy beyond simple technical issues. In particular, the lack of critical thinking and ethics education and the inadequacy of policies regarding digital media are allowing these problems to spread. Due to the absence of education that focuses on critical thinking and ethical thinking, students are unaware of the seriousness of deepfakes or take them lightly, and end up using them for entertainment purposes. In addition, despite the commercialization and widespread use of fake technology, the social system that educates youth not to abuse it is incomplete. I think that the environment where students can easily access deepfake technology has been created, and the lack of related laws and regulations has further spread abuse by youth.

In order to solve the deepfake problem, fundamental changes in education and policy are necessary. First, it is important to strengthen critical thinking and ethics education to help students understand the risks of technology and make ethical judgments. This is to enable students to grow into mature citizens who are not simply users of technology, but who can think about and take responsibility for the impact that technology will have on society.

I believe that the problem of deepfakes is not simply a problem of technology, but a problem that arose from the close intertwining of social structures, education, and policies. In order to solve this problem, education and policies should move in the direction of helping young people develop the ability to think and use technology ethically.
